This is a one hour class designed to be similar to the MBSR class, but more accessible for people with less time available. In this class we will draw heavily from neuro-scientific understandings of both stress itself as well as how we can use mindfulness to intentionally developed greater skillfulness in meeting stress. It is a practical, skills-based course that offers the means of learning greater confidence, ease and sense of well-being right in the midst of life’s realities. The course will include:
- 1 hour class for 7 consecutive weeks
- formal and informal mindfulness meditation practice
- gentle mindful yoga practice (appropriate for any condition)
- guided CD’s/mp3’s for home use
- optional Saturday Retreat Day for deeper understanding of mindfulness
We believe strongly in making all of our classes available to anyone who believes that mindfulness might be helpful in their life and is willing to commit themselves to do the work. Therefore we offer our classes on an honor-system based Sliding Scale, and the generosity of those who are able and choose to pay more directly supports those who are not.

Low Income $100
If $100 is difficult for you, please consider the class anyway. We ask that you decide what amount you can contribute as a commitment and investment in your own process as well as helping to support financial health of the class and our ability to offer this kind of sliding scale. No one is ever turned away for financial reasons.
